Microsoft has released an optional update for Windows 10 version 2004. This release fixes a large number of issues and bugs badly affecting the functionality and performance of PCs. These bugs and issues are driver problems & issues causing Microsoft to block the functionality on some PCs.

LTE Modems Issue
Windows 10 version 2004, commonly known as Windows 10 May 2020 Update. This update fixes an issue in certain LTE modems that prevents devices to access the internet. Earlier, Microsoft fixed such problem in the optional update for Windows 10, versions 1909 &1903 .
Magnifier issue in Excel
One fix in KB4568831 addresses an issue that caused Magnifier to stop working in Microsoft Excel and eventually stopped Microsoft Excel from working.
Content Display issue on Non-HDR Systems for HDR Streaming
Microsoft also notes and resolves an issue that 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) content was being displayed “darker than expected when you configure certain non-HDR systems for HDR Streaming”.
Issues Regarding Network Printers and Setting Pages
This update fixes Issues regarding unexpected close of Settings Page. Issues regarding proper Setting Up of default applications are resolved. A bug that stopped some of the applications for printing through network printers is fixed.
Storage Spaces Issues
There are two fixes for issues affecting Storage Spaces, Microsoft’s RAID-like data protection software. Microsoft evaluated and confirmed reports of the users on the issues of Storage Spaces in Windows 10 2004 in mid-June. Just after two weeks of confirmation of user reports, Microsoft engaged troubleshooters to resolve these issues.
Data Integrity Issues on Parity Storage Spaces
Update for Windows 10 Version 2004, addresses an issue with in-memory parity bitmaps that can cause data-integrity issues on Parity Storage Spaces.
Issue Regarding Creating a Storage Pools
This update also resolves an issue that prevents users from creating a storage pool using Manage Storage Spaces in the Control panel of PCs.
Issue Regarding Sleep Mode and Microsoft Defender ATP
This update brings fixes for problems affecting enterprise security product Microsoft Defender ATP in Windows 10 2004. One prevented some PCs from automatically going into Sleep mode, while another prevented some PCs from running Microsoft Defender ATP Threat & Vulnerability Management successfully.
Identification of Malicious Code
Automatic investigations were also failing in Microsoft Defender ATP and the recent update improves the Windows’ ability to identify malicious code injection activities.
This update brings health dashboard that fixes several driver-compatibility issues in the machines.
Nvidia Display Adapters Compatibility Issues
A compatibility problem with Windows 10 2004 and older drivers for Nvidia display adapters cropped up a day after Microsoft released this version of Windows 10, prompting it to block the feature upgrade for affected devices. This issue still exists and the company has clarified that the affected Nvidia drivers are “version lower than 358.00”.
Realtek Drivers issues – More than one Bluetooth Devices Connectivity
Realtek drivers have issue of connecting to more than one Bluetooth device and this issue will be resolved soon.
Compatibility Issues with Apps and Drivers
Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 fixes a compatibility issue affecting devices with Intel integrated GPUs and incompatibility issue with apps or drivers with certain versions of aksfridge.sys or aksdf.sys and Windows 10, version 2004.
